Veeam Software Appliance - Issue with Installation Process

Hi Veeam Experts,

I am trying to install the Veeam Software Appliance on a bare-metal server.

The installer detects the disks and creates the partitions during the Rocky Linux setup, but it stops at the Installation Summary with a “Kickstart insufficient” error and doesn’t proceed further.

I have tried both GUI and CLI installations, but the installation is not proceeding further.

Could you please advise on troubleshooting steps?

Please ensure the prerequisites are met and minimum of two disks for the installation https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbr/em/system_requirements.html?ver=13

Software RAID is not supported. If you are using software RAID, switch to local disks or hardware RAID, then retry the installation.

Also, please make sure the ISO is written to the USB drive using Rufus with the default settings. When prompted, select the “Write in DD Image mode” option.

        Thank you for the suggestion. Earlier, I had missed selecting the DD Image mode. This time, I enabled the “Write in DD Image mode” option while creating the USB using Rufus, and it worked successfully for me.

          Hello,

           

          I have the  same Problem as the previous  Posting.

          When I  created a boot Disk  with the reufus  Settings to the  DD Image mode it has  wroked, I was able to install the  Appliance.

          Now  is the Installation hanging to the Licence Window and  nothing I can type or  klick.

          I have many times  the server restarted, Keyboard and  mouse  unplugged and  agian plugged but  nothing  changed. any Idea  what this is?

          The  same thing if i try  over iLO to  accept  the  Licence.
