While preparing for the VMCE+ v13 exam, I noticed something that made studying much more challenging than it was in previous versions.
In the VMCE v12 Exam Guide, many objectives included direct references to the relevant sections of the documentation. With the VMCE+ v13 Exam Guide, the exam blueprint clearly lists the domains and objectives, but it no longer provides links to the corresponding documentation topics.
You should also consider studying the course material. :-)

Considering that the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide contains thousands of pages, I found myself spending more time searching for where a topic was documented than actually studying it.
To make the process easier, I started mapping each objective from the VMCE+ v13 Exam Outline to the relevant sections of the Veeam Help Center and User Guides. The goal is not to replace the official documentation, but to provide a study roadmap that helps candidates quickly locate the material associated with each exam objective.
For example:
- Define RPO and RTO > Planning and Preparation
- Transport Modes > Backup Proxy Transport Modes
- Ports > Used Ports
- Permission Requirements > Required Permissions
I hope this mapping saves others the same amount of time it saved me and allows candidates to focus on learning the technology instead of navigating thousands of pages of documentation.
