An administrator has been tasked with creating a dynamic protection group to protect physical Linux servers.  Where must the CSV file be stored?

  1. On a NFS Share
  2. Any server with the Veeam Backup & Replication Console installed
  3. The administrator’s workstation
  4. On a local drive of the Veeam Backup & Replication Server
  1. On a local drive of the Veeam Backup & Replication Server

  1. Local drive of the VBR server

  1. On a local drive of the Veeam Backup & Replication Server

    From the docs:
Computers from CSV file — create a protection group for these objects if you want to add to the protection scope computers listed in a CSV or TXT file that resides in a local folder on the backup server or in an SMB network shared folder

Answer below...

Like the previous day’s question, this is pretty much a ‘black and white’ question. You just need to know Veeam can use CSV files for Protection Groups, and secondly, where they need to be stored for Veeam to use them. If you know where, you can easily go through the listed options and decide which one is correct. Since CSV files need to be in some folder local to the Veeam server, d. On a local drive of the Veeam Backup & Replication Server , is the correct answer. For more info, see the URL below:
