How can we get ProPartner Portal access for VMCE+ course and exam?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice regarding an urgent VMCE+ certification requirement.

We have a customer who is currently attending Veeam training and needs to obtain the VMCE+ certification as soon as possible because they have a project starting in the 4th week of July, where the VMCE+ certification is a mandatory requirement.

However, we are still waiting for access to the Veeam ProPartner Portal, which is required to access the VMCE+ course materials.

I'd like to ask:

  1. Is there any way to expedite ProPartner Portal access?
  2. Is there an alternative method to access the VMCE+ training materials while waiting for the portal access?
  3. Has anyone experienced a similar situation, and if so, how was it resolved?

Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated, as we're trying to help our customer meet a very tight project deadline.

      Is this a new user needing access to an existing account or a new account?

       

      If a new account I’d suggest contacting your account manager.

      There really is no way to “expedite” someone getting VMCE+ certified. As far as getting Pro Partner Portal access….my understanding is that access is not for customers but for MSPs. If you go to the Pro Partner website (https://propartner.veeam.com/login/), in the upper right is a link for Support. For any and all questions regarding PPP, I recommend going that route. Folks may be able to offer info here, but not offer resolution. So you should really go that route.

      As far as VMCE+ certification is concerned. I manage the VMCE+ Study Hall page and helped develop/write the new VMCE+ certification exam. It takes time to do all THREE trainings, and then be granted access on ones Veeam certification page for the option to even register for the exam, not to mention scheduling and taking the new exam...for the actual cert attainment to even occur. The chances of your customer attaining a VMCE+ certification by end of July *before* their project is slim to none.

      Registering for the 3 classes can be done via Veeam University PRO (https://www.veeam.com/support/training/veeam-university-pro.html). Just find a content reseller and you (your customer) can purchase the training bundle. Or, they can go to Veeam University (https://veeamuniversity.com/) and purchase the trainings individually at a very much higher expensive route.

      If you are an MSP you can become a partner to get access as that is what we are but not just anybody can get access as there is a process.  Shane outlined some great material to check out.  👍
