Veeam Backup & Replication’s installation image includes the following components:
1. Veeam Backup & Replication
Installs Veeam Backup and Replication with the following services:
- Manage backup proxy servers and repositories
- Process REST commands (this is disabled by default, but can be enabled)
- Automate operations with PowerShell
- Restore backed up data with Veeam Explorers™
2. Veeam Backup & Replication Console
Installs the following services:
- The user interface client for local and remote Veeam Backup & Replication servers
- Veeam Explorers for data restores
3. Veeam Backup & Replication PowerShell
- Installs the PowerShell extension with sets of PowerShell cmdlets
4. Veeam Backup & Replication REST API
- Installs the RESTful API plug-in
5. Enterprise Manager (optional)
- Reporting, Restore Portal, federating multiple Veeam Backup & Replication servers
