Failed to snapshot volumes (vSphere CSI with RKE2)

Hello,

I am evaluating Kasten K10 in my lab with latest vSphere 7.0.3 (20990077) cluster and a Rancher auto provisioned RKE2 (v1.24.8+rke2r1) cluster. In the Kubernetes namespace, I have 1 RWX volume and 1 RWO volume backed by vSphere CSI. However, when I tried to run the policy, I got this error:

This is a brand new cluster and loaded some sample application. I have already added an Infrastructure profile with correct vCenter info

Is there anything I am missing?

I found it is the RWX volume is causing the issue. So, I believe Kasten K10 does not support volume backed by vSphere CNS which mounted as NFS from VSAN File Service. Is that right?

@brian96 Thank you for posting your question.

I suppose you are right with the support for VSAN file service. We haven’t tested this.

Let me confirm if that is the case and update you.
