I am currently facing a challenge with recovering an instance to another VM within the same Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment. Unfortunately, my attempt was unsuccessful.
I would like to inquire if the recovery of a bare metal instance on OCI is supported?

+23Hi, I don’t believe OCI gives you console access to VMs which will prevent you doing a BMR.
If you’re using Oracle’s VMware solution then yes you should be fine https://www.veeam.com/kb4007
