Veeam ONE Agent
Veeam ONE agent is a component that enables communication with Veeam Backup & Replication servers, performs collection of logs, and sends remediation commands. Veeam ONE agent can work in the following modes:

Server: In this mode, Veeam ONE agent is responsible for analyzing log data and signature updates. Veeam ONE agent server is included into Veeam ONE installation package and deployed on the machine running Veeam ONE server during product installation.

Client: In this mode, Veeam ONE agent is responsible for collecting logs and executing remediation actions on Veeam Backup & Replication servers. By default, Veeam ONE agent client is deployed on Veeam Backup & Replication servers when you connect these servers to Veeam ONE.
Veeam ONE Client
The Veeam ONE Client is the user component that interacts with the Veeam ONE Server. It can be installed either locally or remotely. Communication with the server is provided by the Veeam ONE Client.
Veeam ONE Web Services
The Veeam ONE Web Services are the access and reporting interface with the Veeam ONE web server. Without these services, you are unable to view or create reports.
Veeam ONE Database
The Veeam ONE Database is used as a storage location for all the data that is used by Veeam ONE components. The database can be installed on a remote Microsoft SQL Server or on the same machine with other Veeam ONE components.
Veeam ONE Server
The Veeam ONE Server is the core of data collection and storage. It is responsible for all data collection from virtual environments, as well as interaction with Veeam Backup & Replication servers. All data is stored in the Veeam ONE database.
