Recovering Data - Application Items

Restoring Application Items

Veeam Backup & Replication offers Veeam Explorers specialized tools for restoring application items directly from backups or replicas. By enabling application-aware processing during backup or replication, you can achieve granular recovery of specific items like emails or databases, providing enhanced data restoration capabilities.

Veeam Backup & Replication utilizes a unique architecture for restoring application items. First, it leverages the application-aware processing option during backup or replication, ensuring application-consistent backups are created. Then, Veeam Explorers interact with these backups to provide granular recovery at the item level.
