Single production datacenter with Microsoft Hyper-V Environment using the Veeam Software Appliance backing up to a Veeam Hardened Repository with a copy to VAULT – 1000 VMs

The environment described in this architecture is one main datacenter with 1000 VMs and 100 physical servers with 200 GB of used storage.  The VMs are hosted on the Microsoft Hyper-V Hypervisor. The Veeam components are hosted on the Veeam Software Appliance and Veeam Infrastructure Appliance. The backup uses the on-host data mover backup method. All backups target a local Veeam Hardened Repository Appliance and copied to the Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) Vault.
