I can distinctly separate my professional journey into two major phases: the period before Veeam and the period after my introduction to Veeam. I was first introduced to Veeam 3–4 years ago when I was an engineer with a strong interest in the backup world. I was actively exploring new products, and when I first came across Veeam, I thought, "This software is incredibly innovative and powerful!" That moment sparked a deep curiosity in me, and I became eager to understand Veeam's products better and develop my expertise in this area.
I began my journey with Veeam Backup & Replication, followed by Veeam ONE, Veeam Agents, and other Veeam solutions. As I gained more knowledge, I decided to share what I had learned with others by writing articles. Over time, I realized that Veeam had become an integral part of my professional life. Through my articles, interactions with the community, and connections made with various users, my relationship with Veeam grew increasingly stronger.
A pivotal moment in this journey occurred this year when I became more actively involved in the Veeam community. Engaging with fellow users not only fostered my personal growth but also enhanced my professional development. By sharing my experiences and receiving recognition for my contributions, I was motivated to further strengthen my commitment to advancing the community.
My hard work and dedication to Veeam and its community have paid off. People have acknowledged my efforts, and several of my articles have won Article of the Month, which I found very honorable.
Four months ago, I took on the leadership of the Veeam User Group (VUG) in Turkey, a significant milestone in my journey. Organizing my first virtual event, meeting new people, and introducing Veeam to a wider audience has been an unforgettable experience. Today, many people in Turkey and around the world know me, which reaffirms the value of my work.
On a daily basis, I continue to receive inquiries from individuals seeking guidance and assistance with Veeam solutions. I am committed to providing comprehensive explanations of Veeam’s capabilities and helping users maximize the potential of its offerings.
