Hello,I want to share with you the last script I make to get hardening configuration of the VBR server and then remediate some of them. The script need to be executed on the VBR server itself. It's built with Veeam 12.1 beta. That means some checks can break on GA version.I seperate it into 4 choices when you execute it :choice 1 = Apply Level 1 security (security check done by veeam product itself when you execute security and compliance on the VBR console)choice 2 = Apply Level 2 security (best practice about hardening Veeam product)choice 3 = Remove VBR console (Carreful, you can't use anymore Veeam powershell after this action)choice 4 = Get HTML security report That means choice 1 or 2 or 3 will performs modifications on the system.Choice 4 will not do any modifications, it just make the HTML report. Some sample available on fresh installation, fresh installation + L1 applied, fresh installation + L1 + L2 appliedIf you want to see report on fresh installation + after doing choice 1 +

Hello, I would like to know how do you manage your job and associated TAG when you build Veeam for customer ? I would like to use 1 job for 200 VM and within these 200 VM I have some with oracle, some with Exchange, some with SQL, …How would you do for it ? I think about different categoriies (rpo / application type / log processing)rpo : 24/48/…application type : exchange, sql, oracle,…log processing : copy , truncate, truncate 15m, truncate 30m,…And use tag combination on my job with all the possibilities :24 + exchange + truncate24 + sql + truncate 15m24 + oracle + truncate 30m24 + oracle + truncate 15m What do you think about it ?Is it better to have 1 job for SQL ? 1 for Oracle ? I would like to know how do you do for big customer :) I have some with 200/300/500VMs and I would like to avoid to manually specify each VM on AAIP and the process associated
Hello, I need to install the product for new customer and I don’t find anything on internet about how to manage job for organisations “medium size”.My customer has 8 Active directory forest and all are sync inside the same Azure tenant.I need to backup all of them.Is it “better” to have only 1 Exchange job (same for sharepoin, ...) for all or better to create 1job / domain name (each forest has a different public domain).I mean : Exchange job - Target organization and select only mail + archive and add exclusion for what I don’t want.ORExchange domain1 job - Target AAD group with domain1 users and repeat it for all other domain. What is the solution to be sure I backup actual object AND futures one. If I select organization → It’s ok. If I select group, I need to be sure user is inside the group (Dynamic group is ok). What about sharepoint site ? When I select a group and check sites, it will backup personnal sharepoint site right ? but for the other one how do you manage it ? I don’t

Hello,Today I try to update Postgre SQL and when I execute the installer, I got the error : prerunscript.command.line.errorI go to the log file on path : c:\users\username\appdata\local\temp\2 and find file "installbuilder_installer.log" It contains the reason : Windows Script Host Access Is Disabled on This Machine. Contact Your Administrator for DetailsThis happens because I follow the Veeam recommendation about hardening the server -> Disable VBS.So, to update postgreSQL, first, it's needed to update the registry key at : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\SettingsEnabled should be updated to 1No reboot is required, just need to execute again the postgreSQL setup again and after the installation complete, update the value back to 0.I create this topic because I think this could be mentionned somewhere on the documentation / forum / here.
