Backup Files showing it is located in Extent under maintenance

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

We are doing backup evacuation to that we can recover some of the storage. However, after the evacuation, some of the backup files show the following:

If I copy the path, it points me to an available extent where the file has been copied. I also did a restore with the some of the files shown above and able to do a restore.

So why does it still show that the files are in an extent in maintenance mode which is not correct since the files have been moved already. Bug or defect or has a information purpose?

Have you removed the extent you put in MM from the SOBR to see if that fixes it?  As long as the data is moved that is.  It could be a re-sync issue maybe?  Not sure on this one but removing or sync might address it.

No, I haven’t removed the extent yet from the SOBR. Had to re-scan to make the issue disappear. I was just thinking since Veeam itself was doing the moving of the files, it is also updating the config db since it shows the correct path and therefore should display the information correctly. If I were doing the manual move, a re-scan would be needed.

Anyway, I guess that the display may be getting its info from another table and that table/s only gets updated with a re-scan.

Thanks much for your input @Chris.Childerhose. Really appreciate.
