Hello All,I will start using Huawei Cloud soon. According to my department, I will deal with backup and replications. Does anyone know how Huawei cloud integrates with Veeam? Can I replicate my on-prem server to Huawei cloud with Veeam? On the backup side, how is the backup again?

Hi, everyone! I have a PowerShell script that I use to retrieve some information about the daily backup sessions. It works well, but I was trying to transition it from the Get-VBR-Job command to the Get-VBRBackup command. Everything works but the newer script is very slow; it went from a few seconds with the old script to 5-10 minutes with the new. I was wondering if anyone could give me pointers on a more efficient way to get the session information or otherwise speed it up. Thanks in advance!!RobbOriginal script#backup JobsForeach ($JobObject in Get-VBRJob){ #write-host "loop number ${$jobobject.indexof()}" $session=$jobobject.FindLastSession() if (!($JobObject.JobType -eq "BackupSync")) { $JobOutput = New-Object -TypeName PSObject if (((get-date).AddDays(-1) -lt $session.Progress.StopTimeLocal) -or ($session.Result -in "Failed","None")) { $JobOutput | Add-Member -Name "Job Name" -MemberType Noteproperty -Value $JobObject.Name $JobOutput | Add-Membe

Hi, We have installed kasten helm charts via Rancher. Now I am trying to resize the catalog pvc, but cannot do it in rancher as will over write when new version helm chart is deployed..In App yaml file all I see is a resource “catalog-pv-claim” is created but no size is mentioned, I can’t find where the actual size is mentioned. May I know where in rancher config yaml we need to update the size of catalog pvc so that the volume can be expanded.the parameter “global.persistence.catalog.size” is left default in app configRegards,Raj
I have two things I wanted to share this week here that might useful to the community.Red Hat Summit Next week is Red Hat Summit and I will be heading out to Denver, CO for the first time to get my learning on with the Red Hat Community.Red Hat has been a staple in the enterprise technology space for many years. Whilst I have been interested and using Red Hat Linux for a number of years in various different places, the real interest for me is around their Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and of course as it pertains to Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShiftI have looked at the schedule for the event and picked out some very interesting sessions, an interesting session that I found was Terraform and with the recent announcements from IBM (IBM also own Red Hat) this will be very interesting as to how Ansible and Terraform could align in the future. From a Veeam perspective with Red Hat we have a few things but the most notable is the integration and partnership we have with Red Hat OpenShift.
I know the answer is really “it depends”, but if customer says “what would you recommend” ..as they tend to do, what would be your go-to recommendation. Feel free to offer other options.

Here’s the 2nd question for the week. Let’s gooo!!! 😎 #YouGOTthis The Security Team requires a quarterly spot-check of various VMs to ensure there is no malware on them. As such, you choose to run a Scan Backup operation on a VM housing an Oracle database on Linux. When you attempt to run the Scan, the option is greyed out. Why?You don't have Veeam Backup Operator permissions Oracle isn't a supported application to scan Scans can only be done in a Virtual Lab or during Secure Restore Scan Backup task can only be done on Windows VMs
