Hi Everyone, Happy friday!
I need to get involved with Kubernetes/Containers, I’m asking you guys because you can give me a more assertive answer, I know that there are a lot of content online, but I don’t know which one is better to start my learning.

Could you please give me a road map to start from the begging and became a master on it?

THANK YOU!

Check out KodeKloud as it seems to be one of the better online places to learn, but can be expensive.  I am sure @Geoff Burke has many things he can point you to as well as @michaelcade

Hey, what’s your Linux and container (docker) knowledge I would say start here as jumping into Kubernetes is going to be massively overwhelming. I have created sections on all of these including Kubernetes in a project called 90DaysOfDevOps

Kubernetes the big picture

in each section you will find good solid free content on YouTube that cover a lot of the fundamentals. We will also have a Kubernetes focused session at the v100 if you are attending.

Hi Andre! I would start with Linux and containers in general, then work your way up. Let’s talk in Prague and we might even make this a topic on our Monthly Ace call.

Also check out some free courses like these https://www.edx.org/learn/kubernetes/the-linux-foundation-introduction-to-kubernetes

HI @AndrePulia I can’t really make it a regular monthly topic but we can discuss and go over paths for learning.

Also take a look at the Kube Korner here. There is like 4 years worth of posts, many of the basic setup posts are still relevant. Obviously Kubernetes is not sitting still so there could be some changes. Also check out 90 days of devops https://github.com/MichaelCade/90DaysOfDevOps and the youtube chan https://www.youtube.com/@90DaysOfDevOps

I concur with @michaelcade ‘s suggestion to really dive into Linux and then containers. Kubernetes is around because of containers really.
