The environment described in this architecture consists of a single Kubernetes cluster in Amazon EKS with multiple application namespaces. All local snapshots will be exported to an immutable Amazon S3 bucket to protect against deletion or encryption attacks. Additionally, backups are imported onto a standby cluster for disaster recovery.
