VeeamOne can't add VBR servers to be monitored because of permissioning

We tried accounts with local admin access to the VBR servers and VeeamOne, domain accounts with elevated privileges (plus local admin) and accounts with full admin VBR application rights and still got the permissions error. We followed this KB with no luck.  Whatever we do we get the permissions error.   https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/one/userguide/connection_to_backup_servers.html?ver=13 What rights do we need for this account to add the VBR server. Another note I was able to add the vCenter server with the vCenter Administrator account.

If this is the VSA then you need to enable the connection to monitoring systems from the MGMT UI 10443.  Then check users locked and try again.  It is a timing thing.

Yes - enable the connection from the Host management UI, also when selecting the account make sure its in the form of user@domain and not domain\user. That was my issue when I experienced this.

@j0guyt  - one other thing to ensure is that the user you are trying to connect with is in the Backup Administrator group in the Console.  Under Users section add the account as Backup Admin and you can select the service account option to disable MFA too.  That was the other piece I remembered.
