Hi there,

We currently use Veeam CDP and Veeam Replication to replicate our servers from our primary data center to a DR site, and this setup has been working very well in our VMware environment.

With our interest in Proxmox growing, I wanted to check whether Veeam has any plans to bring similar capabilities, such as CDP and replication to Proxmox.

Is this something that’s on Veeam’s roadmap, or are there any updates on future support for these features?

Hi @tim00 - it's hard to tell what exactly the Veeam Product Managers have planned, but last I heard is at least Replication will eventually be coming for Proxmox & other h/V solutions. As far as timeline goes, not sure. Your best bet is to post on the Forums so PMs can give you a better idea.

Best.

Hi,

Regular (non-CDP) replication comes for Proxmox in 13.1

Currently no short-term plans for CDP for hypervisors beyond VMware, but we are reviewing options for other CDP targets.
