Veeam Enterprise Manager 13 REST API get job sessions for Backup to tape jobs

I am using /api/query?type=’BackupJobSession’ to retrieve all backup job sessions. Does anybody know if this query will retrieve sessions for ‘Backup to Tape’ jobs as well? I don’t have the ability to setup such jobs in my lab and I can not test it.

Alternatively is there a different query to retrieve sessions for such jobs?

@CostasLoupas, not in Enterprise Manager API, and not currently in Backup Server API either.

Use Powershell for now if possible to query directly from the backup server(s), you can use Connect-VBRServer with the -Server parameter to connect to different servers.

Thanks! I did check the REST API reference guide, there is no mention of tape anywhere.

The only place i found references to tape is in the VBR powershell reference guide.

Hi @CostasLoupas you have no tape to test it? you can use a Virtual one if necessary.

Thanks Andre, however i need to establish if there is an API call for it or not. If there isn’t, there is no point in doing the config work.
