Hi @rajasohaib! The port you’ve posted is not used for the connection to a StoreOnce, but for the StoreVirtual systems. Can you make sure, you’re using the right option within Veeam?

port should be open from the FW side check the required things example below:

in addition to check from VBR server in poweshell

Test-NetConnection -ComputerName ? -Port 16022

Check firewall rules on both VBR VM and StoreOnce VSA.

Use telnet <StoreOnce_IP> 16022 or Test-NetConnection in PowerShell to verify connectivity.

@rajasohaib Please post a screenshot of the Veeam Console and the assistant where you’re seeing this error. Port 16022 is not a StoreOnce Port which means you might be at the wrong place trying to add it to Veeam.

I am with Regnor here I don't recall that port for StoreOnce.  Post a screenshot please to show us as requested.

Based on the port you’re referencing, it looks like you’re trying to add an HPE StoreVirtual storage appliance via the storage infrastructure tab.

Instead, you should be going to the Backup Infrastructure tab, to Backup Repositories, and add the StoreOnce as a repository. It will show up under Deduplicating Storage Appliance
