Hi All,

I install veeam 13 appliance, and connect to it with Veeam Backup & Replication Console installled on windows, I can find backup job log on veeam 13 appliance (var/log/), but if my backup job created from windows console, I can’t find log , I check %ProgramData%\Veeam\Backup , but not find backup job log by job name, Backup jobs aren't synchronized between the web interface and the console, right?

So where can I find the log files for backup jobs generated by the console?

Thanks.

Job Logs have always been stored on the backup server and never on the machine where you have only deployed the console.

You can use Backup Console or Host Management UI to download the logs for troubleshooting. I recommend the backup console, as its currently much faster than Host Management UI.

Hi @Mildur,

My Windows-based console has backups for different platforms, such as Nutanix and Proxmox. When I select “Export Log,” I can only see the jobs in the web UI (VMware&HyperV)and not the backups from other platforms. Therefore, backup jobs generated by the Windows-based console are not synced to the backup server and cannot be viewed there?
