Currently you can only restrict the Server-Scope for File-Restore not for the whole application. So whenever you want to give an user any role more privledged than “Restore-Operator”, you cannot fully restrict the scope of servers he see in the Jobs or Server Tab...

So, what is your question exactly? Or, are you wanting to put in a feature request/enhancement? Feature enhancements are best placed over on the Forums for Product Managers to weigh in on them and give feedback on the viability of incorporating suggestions in future product releases.

+6Yes - more information. I have Enterprise manager installed but never really use. Mainly for the licensing to push out to all my servers.
+10Actually, you can create a role and limit access to specific servers and what users can do.
You could select a few file servers and allow them the ability to restore files to only those servers
