Question

Restore individual files returns the last version of the file

I’m running Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows 6.0.2.1090 - Free Edition on my Windows 11 PC and I’ve never come across this issue so far:

  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Run restore Individual Files
  3. Select a backup date
  4. browse the backup and select a specific file
  5. the file is shown in its current state, not in the state at the time when the backup was run. Even non-existing files at backup time, created after the backup was taken, are shown in the backup tree

Is it a bug? Am I supposed to set some configuration parameter?

I used to navigate the backup tree and select individual files to restore specific files in their state at the time the backup was run.

Thank you in advance

If you selected the backup date prior to current that is what should be able to restore.  Unsure if a bug but maybe also check in the forums for similar issues encountered - https://forums.veeam.com

@vieri You can try to restore it with keep, not overwrite, to ensure it’s correct.
