I am upgrading my Home Lab to new hardware.

Re: I can’t get the register email for mike.mckenney@scsiraidguru.com

Veeam Server:  I upgraded the Veeam Server to Windows 10 22H2 from Windows 7.  I can’t install Windows 11 on this box.  I had to remove one of my three tape drives (SCSI) to go to 10.  I have two SAS tape drives.  Veeam is on 11A.   Veeam is working on all boxes except my HP Z480 below.

HP Z840 Workstation:  I installed Windows 2022 Standard Server with Hyper-V.  It is in my workgroup, workgroup.  It is in the same network and subnet as my Veeam Server, Windows 11 workstaion and all VMs.  Windows Firewall is turned off.  It was on Windows 10.   Hyper-V is working.  I have 6 Minecraft Servers for our children and family to play on.   They are 8 and 10.   All Ubuntu 24.04 VMs.   Java, Bedrock and Folia.  They love to play with mods and plugins.

I can’t get to the Community Downloads for v12GA and latest v12.   I never get to email from Veeam to register mike.mckenney@scsiraidguru.com.  I checked to see if I was blocking Veeam in rules.  I checked spam filter.  Nothing.   Can Veeam unblock my account?

I can’t open a ticket because I can’t register my email.  I can’t contact support by phone because I can’t open a ticket.  Anyone from Veeam Support I can contact on the Community forum.

Hi @SCSIraidGURU,

To make sure to fully understand your issue: You cannot create an account at my.veeam.com?

If this is a case, can you try another email address? In case that works, there seems to be an issue with your mail address, maybe a spam filter or something is blocking the Veeam registration mail.

You could give the support case a try by using a phone call. Here are the numbers:

https://www.veeam.com/company/contacts.html

Hope that helps!

Lukas

This is what I mentioned to try as well.  Hopefully it works.

I have three email addresses.  Veeam won’t take my gmail.com or live.com accounts.  Only mike.mckenney@scsiraidguru.com is recognized as a business account.  This is just stupid because I know many businesses that use gmail accounts.

Nope on my.veeam.com: E-mail with your activation link has been sent to mike.mckenney@scsiraidguru.com.
To complete your registration, please check your email and follow your activation link.

Aside from the phone numbers I provided on your other post...which are the same as from the URL Lukas provided above, I’m not sure what else to try @SCSIraidGURU . 🤔

The only other suggestion I can think of is to reach out to a Product Manager on the Forums. to see if they can get you a number or email to assist you into checking why you aren’t getting the verification email.

Have you tried to call the numbers?

Yes, I called the support number.  You need a ticket to get through to support.  I can’t get a ticket till I register my email address.  I can’t get the final email to do it.   I don’t have an issue getting forum emails.  I only have one email they will accept.  mike.mckenney@scsiraidguru.com.  They won’t allow gmail.com or live.com, Which is stupid.  I know companies that use both.
