QNAP QuObjects no longer on HCL as object backup target ?

Hi all,

I was checking the HCL list on QNAP QuObject devices and in the past you could find them at: https://www.veeam.com/sys469 but this now throws a 404…

So checking the HCL didn’t show any Qnap devices.

Aren’t they supported anymore with the QuObjects to provide local S3 compatible storage with optional immutability?

Some months ago we had a list like:

Folks,

QNAP has recently finished their v12 Veeam Ready qualification tests.  The Veeam Ready site should be updated in the near future once their submission has been reviewed and approved.

Thanks for reaching out.

It was only in the past month I looked and saw it on there, but it wasn’t on there with immutability support when I saw it btw.

Gonna be a question for Veeam 😔

Doesn’t look like this list is updated now.  Maybe @Rick Vanover or @HannesK can shed some light.

Chance I had a screenshot from the previous results. Would like to know the reason why they disappeared.

Could be the table isn’t fully populated as I got a bunch of options when I looked this time. QNAP are still saying they’re Veeam ready as object and object with immutability here: https://www.qnap.com/en/software/quobjects

Thanks @Pybarra I’m working an a proposal for an architecture and just want to be 100% sure that we’re using qualified and HCL’ed devices.

I can confirm it used to be on and thank you @Pybarra for stepping up here. My suspicion is it is being requalified for V12 or something like that. Or a new QNAP rev.

The immutability however is still qualified, view as of today:

Updated again by Veeam Ready team @kristofpoppe https://www.veeam.com/alliance-partner-integrations-qualifications.html?alliancePartner=qnap-systems-inc&type%5B%5D=object-storage-target&page=1

These QNAP articles were un-published some time ago as some additional clarifications had to be done. Corrected articles are published today. 😀

All articles were published again and we added some information regarding non supported configurations to some of them. If you follow defaults and best practices, no limitation.
