Hi,
I’m trying to configure HA on my Veeam Backup Server. Has anyone seen this or ran into a similar issue?
I can ping both servers from IP and FQDN. Both have DNS entries. I ran through the pre-requisites of allowing HA to be configured from the Host Management, Now, I’m at a loss ..any ideas?
+21Yes this is an issue with the SSL certificate on the secondary node. If you change the IP of the secondary node you will get it to work. I had to do this and support is investigating for me.
+21It is actually what is stored in the DB for the SSL and the thumbprint has changed so it does not see this and there is a bug with the popup window showing to validate the new SSL thumbprint. Hence why changing the IP works.

I have been able to confirm the certificate window not being presented after the certificate change is also a known issue, just took a while to find the write wording to find the page. The issue has been investigated and it does log to be slated to be corrected in a future release.
I seem to recall that both nodes must be on the same subnet. Is that the case here?
