I would like to know from you, gentlemen, if anyone here happens to use this NIST document. It dates back to 2010, but it seems to me to be an excellent source of information. What references have you been using in your projects?

I have looked at when working on projects for the Government as we have to follow strict guidelines and guardrails.

I haven't looked at it. I dont have much work with the government. I will tuck it away in case I do.

@Chris.Childerhose I understand, Chris. In your opinion, for example, the section that refers to the BIA ,do you believe it is still valid, or would there be another reference you would recommend following? for privte or gov?

@kciolek The title of the guide does refer specifically to the government, but I believe the private sector can also make use of this document.

Thanks! I'll take a look and become familiar with it.

Unsure I will need to go through it again.  Do you have a link to the guide you can share again.

Hi @AndrePulia - we are certainly aware of this Guide, but don’t use it as a hard and fast security resource for our environment. That may change though.

This section to me still seems relevant in most cases. If there is anything else that I can think of to reference I will post it.
