Has anyone ever seen the following with CDP proxies running Windows Server 2025?
There seems to be a constant disconnect, we have no other connectivity issues between site and there is exclusions throughout our Crowdstrike instance.
Veeam support have looked at the logs and highlighted the loss of connection, and to refer to our network team but there isn’t anything apparent that would cause an issue.
Any help would be appriciated.

+22I assume the CDP Proxies are VMs? Are they configured with VMXNET3 network adapters? Have you tried using Windows 2022 for just a test? The better way is to use the VIA ISO from Veeam to install Linux-based servers for the CDP proxy. I have never tested with Windows myself, but it should work.
Not sure what to suggest other than testing Windows 2022 and the Veeam Appliance ISO to see if the same thing happens. I know there were and maybe still are some wonky things with Win2025 networking.

I’ll give the Veeam ISO Appliance a shot and see if this works out any better, let me come back to you ASAP just in case anyone else is having a similar issue.

Hi Chris, apologies to confirm should I install Veeam Infrastructure Appliance? I know Veeam have their own Linux ISO, is this what you meant?

Yes, the VIA and then add it as a CDP Proxy to Veeam to use instead of Win2025 server.
