Any suggestions on how to get my company to purchase an Enterprise license? Currently, the company is using the free version of Veeam.
+20It depends on what features Ent or Ent+ offers that your org woud use.

+12The Veeam Backup Essentials VUL License will cost you around 800 Dollar each year.
You will get automatic Restore Testing and product support for that money. This reasons alone should be a reason to buy the license.
If you have a problem and need immediately support from veeam, you will only get it on best effort on community edition. I don‘t want my production environment without support .

+23With regards to support: Service Providers aren’t allowed to offer support to the community edition so even if you have an external IT provider they can’t assist with the free one, the Veeam support team are worth it even if you’re on the small side. Also check out the Veeam essentials offering as it includes Veeam B&R and Veeam One and is priced in small instance increments so it’s VERY cost effective 😀
