How to use QNAP as object storage for Veeam Backup and Replication 12.1 with Immutability Backup

@regnor thank you for the direction to check QuObjects side limitation. What method are you recommend to connect the QNAP to VEEAM for making it work and stable? I thought it will integrate without an issue.

We tested this for multiple months and opened support tickets regarding stability, performance and working with large amounts of objects together with Veeam support, but also with QNAP support. This all resulted in several updates both on Veeam’s side but also QNAP QuObjects upgrades. Besides optimizing the connection via concurrent tasks, S3ConcurrentTaskLimit etc. if you’re not able to get QuObjects stable then I would suggest to go via iSCSI.
