One of the great things about AI is that it can be improved in the background, and Veeam Intelligence is no different. I have used AI (namely a GPT) to create a YARA rule, which I’ve found to be easier and servicing quicker than finding some shared online. It is no surprise that Veeam Intelligence is here to help in the same regard. I had a discussion with ​@kirststoner12 about this and sure enough - Veeam Intelligence was able to do this generative AI task within Veeam. I did a simple prompt:

Can you generate a YARA rule to look in backups for credit card numbers stored in plain text?
 

 

The result was rather quick and created in Veeam intelligence with ease:

 

This is just one quick example of how you can use Veeam Intelligence to have some AI-powered resources right inside of your Veeam Backup & Replication console. 

This is amazing!  Goes to show the benefits of AI and the Veeam intelligence feature.  Will need to explore this more to see how we can leverage this.

Really impressive! It's exciting to see how Veeam's intelligence capabilities are evolving, combining AI with malware detection like this opens up powerful use cases. Definitely something I'll be looking into further.

This is really cool Rick. I want to try this today if I get the time.  Scripting is one of the most beneficial things AI has given me. Improving my PowerShell skills has stalled, but my scripts are improving :).

I started to create a few Yara scripts for specific things but this being built right into Veeam is amazing. 

Next you guys should add GPU optimizations so I can justify buying some for my Veeam Servers!
