Backup Failed

I have VB and R Comm Edition v12.0.0 1420 installed on Windows 10, trying to backup a linux server Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and I receive the following error.

Failed to perform managed backup  

* Line 1, Column 1 Syntax error: Malformed token  

Processing finished with errors at 02/04/2023 21:01:57  
 

It writes a .vbm file of 11KB, and a vbk file of 4.362.508KB I am not sure why this is failing?

When I try to recover from using Agent Restore, i cannot find the ‘machine’ to restore from

Linux Agent is installed on the Ubuntu computer, and firewall entries are enabled for VEEAM, in fact i also tried this with the firewall disabled (UFW)

Which agent version are you using? Is the agent server controlled or in standalone mode?

First place I can suggest to check is the logs here - C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup. There will be a folder with the job name and the logs. Check those first to see what errors are reported as it should help with direction.

I have same the problem. But I install it on Centos 7. Veeam Agent.
