Avete esperienze in merito?

Ciao Alessandro,

you could go with VBR 12.3.2. and vSphere 6.7.
Afaik every version since vSphere 6.0 is currently supportet.

But, regards upgrading from an earlier release than v10a, please check this R&D post: Upgrade VBR 9 to 12 - R&D Forums

Hope that helps a bit. Best, Markus

Hi @atinivelli Veeam v12 supports vSphere 6.7, but vSphre 6.7 in not under support bt Broadcom anymore. https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/318381/announcing-end-of-support-life-for-vsphe.html

So, I think is better to convince the customer to upgrade to vSphere v7

Um abraço, André Pulia

thank you Markus and Andre. I know that vSphere 6 is out of support but there is no chance to upgrade that for many reasons, the first is that I have only two days at the customer site (working from remote is not allowed by their policy). Shortly after this on site activity I will leave the current company and I won’t be able to support the customer after that.

The customer has only an handful of VMs and a couple of job: I would go for a fresh install of VBR 12, my only concern is that they are currently using iSCSI LUNs mounted on the veeam server itself, not the easiest scenario to be migrated, especially when you are so short on time.
