sorry to bother you, but I have a valid VMCE 2024 certification, a Veeam University Pro subscription, and I'm starting the courses for the upcoming certifications. I have a question: Do I need to retake the exam for what would now be the VMCE+? Or do I just complete the courses? And does that automatically grant me the VMCE+? My goal is to get the VMCSE, and I understand that I would need to take the exam for that, but I'm unsure if I'd have to take two exams.

For my part, I passed the VMCSE yesterday!
The breakdown was roughly 70% VBR/VSA, 20–25% ONE, and 5% VRO.
Key topics to prioritize for review:
- The Zero Trust principle
- Immutability: how retention changes are handled within backup chains
- RBAC roles
- Alerting, specifically integration with SIEM/SOAR
- Protection mechanism with Veeam Threat Hunter, YARA rules, Staged/Secure restore
The questions focus primarily on restoration.
Most questions follow the format: "You are a Veeam Backup & Replication administrator; the data protection policy is..." or "The RSSI/CISO wants..."
Note: Questions cover both the Windows and VSA versions.
