VUG Canada - Winnipeg May 6, 2026 recap

It looks like it was an outstanding event, and too bad I missed this one.  Here is hoping we can get the same turnout for the next one in the Fall unlike some previous ones in Toronto/Ottawa.  😋🤣

​@HangTen416 Thank you for all the help getting this together. The turnout was great, as were the presentations. I have already had a few people asking when the next one will be. 😀

I see another in the future 100%, might even need a bigger room!

I want to have more here as people were quite receptive and enjoyed it.  We even have a few additional community members now.

Yeah...same here in KC Chris. I’m looking to have our event in Sept. Attendance has been...umm...let’s just say extremely “sub-par” to this point 😕 I’m hopeful I can get this thing moving in the right direction. Hopefully! 🙏🏻 Hope you do as well.

Thanks. I was blown away at the outcome and response. I feel it’s easy to get around in Winnipeg making it a bit easier at the end of the day not having to hop on a subway at 6PM from downtown. Can’t wait for the next.  

What time did you have your event ​@Scott ? Maybe trying a different time may help in my area (maybe) 🤷🏻‍♂️

3PM - 6PM was the option I was given from the brewery.   I was a bit worried as sometimes people like to do it more during business hours and have personal commitments after work. I’d also consider starting at 1PM or 2PM, but this seemed to work well.

Yeah..we’ve had ours like around the 12-230p timeframe. Maybe I’ll try a lil later….just to mix it up.

1 bonus is if you have the event ending at 4/5, people don't have to go back to the office.
