We recently had our VUG Canada meetup in Ottawa, Ontario on April 8th. While I was excited about the sign up list which had 24 people and mostly customers, the turnout was a little lower due to the unforeseen weather. It had snowed this day and I know myself travel to Ottawa was not fun and it was expected that it would impact attendance.
Regardless the room had more people than our first in-person VUG which was great. Pure sponsored the event and put on a presentation with Veeam (Chris McDonald). It was extermely well received and sparked a good discussion amongst the attendees customer and vendor alike.
Below are some pictures of the event and I will be posting more when I receive them from Pure. Hopefully we can get attendance up at the next one, but this was a great event regardless.
I also saw this bridge on my way home when I left so sitting at a red light snapped a picture. You can see the snow too.
