Sorry for post in french , english translate

Hello,

The solution is to use the winre.wim file provided with the official 26H2 ISO.

Using 7-Zip:

Right-click on the ISO, go to Source, then Find install.esd, and open it with 7-Zip.

Click on First Entry, then Windows\System32\Recovery, and copy winre.wim to the Temp folder.

Access the recovery partition (drive letter R:).

cd R:\Recovery\WindowsRE

attrib -h -s winre.wim

del winre.wim

Copy \Temp\winre.wim .

attrib +h +s winre.wim

Remove access to the recovery partition via R:.

Using Veeam, rebuild the recovery media. It will use the new 26H2 winre.wim file.

Now the restore works!

Hello,

i have solved problem by replacing winre.wim in recovery partition with winre.wim in official 26H2 Iso image from Windows site; now bare restore is successfull

lessons from this

  1.  keep this good winre.wim
  2. after each update which need rebuild Veeam recovery image  test bare metal restore with it
  3. suggest to Veeam Team: give capability to use personal winre.wim when rebuid recovery image

Best regards
