First practice question for the week….as with previous week’s questions, try and answer before searching. You only hurt yourself by researching before answering. Good luck!

Also, as I’ve shared in previous week’s, please hide your comments/answers so others can benefit from questions. I’m also going to hide my end-of-week answer/explanation so the questions can always be referenced by others who haven’t yet answered/commented (I will modify my previous questions’ comments). If you’re not sure how to hide your comments, just select the “ellipsis” on the top right of the comment box, then select the ‘Spoiler’ option. That’s it! All hidden! 😊 See image below for reference:

Place the following Veeam job types in order from highest priority to lowest priority:

  1. Quick backup job
  2. Backup restore job
  3. High priority job
  4. Archive job
  5. Backup copy job

B: Restore

A: Quick

C: High Priority

E: Copy

D: Archive

Logically it makes sense that Restore is the most important, Archive is the least.

Ok, everyone...thanks for answering. Below is the correct order for the question. Did you get them correct?

As one user commented, if you didn’t really have any idea about task/job priority within Veeam, it would make sense for restores to be pretty high on the list, and also makes sense for some archival task to be really low (if not last  ), and that would be correct. Restore is 1st and Archive is last. So what about the rest? See below, then reference the link for full list:

  1. Backup Restore job
  2. Quick Backup job
  3. High Priority job
  4. Backup Copy job
  5. Archive job

Good job everyone!
