A few Backup Jobs are running low on Veeam Repository disk space. You check the History of each Job with the issue and see tasks in the Task List stating VMs have been removed and to make sure the removal is intentional. You also verify the Deleted Items Maintenance task is configured and confirm today's date is when storage space should be reclaimed in the Repository. How can you force Veeam to reclaim this space?
- Run the Apply Retention task sooner than it's daily scheduled time
- You can't. You need to create a new Repository and assign it to a problem Job
- Right-click any of the Backup Jobs needing Maintenance and select Reclaim Space
- Ask your Director to login to the Veeam Console and approve running the Backup Job manually
