As with the 2 previous questions, this is a simple “static” question of just knowing about a Veeam process and its functionality. In this case, the question is talking about the CDP I/O filter and where it’s installed. There are a LOT of references in the User Guide about where this gets installed. The reality is, where the Guide states this is installed is imo a bit vague, except for 1 area/section where it states explicitly. I was going to use this “vague area” as an answer choice for the question, but I didn’t want to cause confusion. The area I was going to use is “VMware Clusters”. This is stated & used in the Guide. But, in one specific area, the Guide does say the I/O filter is installed on the ESXi Hosts, making c. ESXi Hosts the correct answer here. IMO, a filter can’t be installed “on a Cluster” as it’s a logical construct of VMware vCenter. What the Guide should say is the filter gets staged (?) on Clusters and then gets installed on Hosts in the Cluster, as well as when new Hosts get added to the Cluster. Regardless, all other answer choices for this question are really distracters. For more info see URL below:
