And, let’s get right to it...question 2 for this week is below. Please hide your guesses/comments!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You are creating a new Backup Job in Veeam v12.1. You come to the Virtual Machine section of the new Job wizard and need to add some Exclusions. Which 2 options from the list below are available to add for Job Exclusions?
  1. ISOs
  2. VMs
  3. vApps
  4. VM Templates
  5. VM Folders
  1. VMs
  1. VM Templates
B,D
VMs + VM Templates!
VMs and Templates (B & D)
Additionally, you can also exclude Disks.
  1. and D.
b: VMs
d: VM Templates
... i would say e. VM Folders (and Tags) are also a valid option for an Exclusion, but this is in the VMs section.
And this week’s 2nd question answer is….
This is a ‘static’ question. Options listed either are or are not viable selections. Based on the User Guide, or if you were to look at your Backup Jobs, you would see which options you have for Job exclusions. The acceptable options for this question are b. VMs and d. VM Templates. VM Disks is an option is well, but this choice isn’t listed.
For more info, see the following URL:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/backup_job_excludes_vm.html?ver=120
Bonus question → where is the option to exclude Folders located? (not VM folders, but guest folders..there is no such option to exclude VM folders).
Bonus answer: in the Application Aware options of the job?
There is multiple answers to my bonus question. Davide, yes!...that is one of them; another area where you can exclude Folders is in Malware Detection for the FSA scan engine. Good job! 👍🏻
