Veeam Agent for Linux v6 already has the veeamsnap kernel module, but in the new 6.3.2 version, Veeam added the blksnap module. What is the purpose of this kernel module?
- Allows Linux Agent jobs to create more than 28 snapshots
- The usage depends on the Linux package manager, like zypper, apt, yum or rpm
- The new name reflects new product development and does not have any feature interoperability
- It is required to support newer Linux kernels and versions
