Question

Zombie notifications after profile location deletion

Hi,

During my testing phase, I’ve setup some S3 endpoints with immutability enabled and tested some policies against it.

Since that phase is done, I’ve deleted policies and location to recreate everything from scratch with the right naming and permissions. I’ve also made sure to delete any restore points in Kasten, so the list was empty prior to deleting everything.

My new policies and profiles works great, but I have Kasten notifications referring to the old location name and I don’t know how to get rid of them :

I could just add the old profiles back targeting the right buckets but they won’t be used. But if that’s the way, then how to cleanly delete those ressources ?

Thanks,

Hi @lgromb  are you sure all the RPCs related to this profile were deleted?
i could not reproduce this issue. please share the output of the below command

 kubectl get restorepointcontents.apps.kio.kasten.io -l k10.kasten.io/exportProfile=<NAME_OLD_PROFILE>

Hi @Hagag , just made sure by listing the value of the  k10.kasten.io/exportProfile for every RPC in the cluster, they all match the current name of my policies and profiles. Not a single one references the old names...
