Is there a way to “capture” the PVC and PV yaml and skip the disk data?

The scenario is that there is a PVC / PV created that mounts static volumes from Isilon storage using the Dell CSI driver. The volumes are only for read only data and are backed up on other systems. But I need the yaml. Doing an Exclude on percistentvolumes seams to exclude everything regarding the PVC.
