Veeam Backup & Replication v10


Hi,

I have been facing an issue while trying to login with Veeam Backup & Replicaiton v10. 

 

The error is “failed to connect to Veeam Backup & Replicaiton server: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:9392.

 

Application Event log :

 

Service cannot be started. System.OperationCanceledException: The operation was canceled.
   at Veeam.Backup.DBCreator.BackupDatabaseDeployer.CanDeploy(IDatabaseVersion databaseVersion)
   at Veeam.Backup.DBCreator.BackupDatabaseDeployer.DatabaseDeploy(List`1 inDeployChangedOptions)
   at Veeam.Backup.DBCreator.BackupDatabaseDeployer.Deploy()
   at Veeam.Backup.DBManager.SqlRetryableInitializer.Init()
   at Veeam.Backup.Service.CVbServiceImpl..ctor(CVbEnvironment env, CTerminationMediator terminator)
   at Veeam.Backup.Service.CVeeamBackupSvc.OnStart(String[] args)
   at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceBase.ServiceQueuedMainCallback(Object state)

 

Please support anyone to resolve issue!

Hi @Mohammed Ibrahim Alakkal  - Can you verify your Veeam Backup Service is running? If it isn’t running, you’ll get this error.

Also, when you’re able, I highly recommend uprading your environment to v12. You’ll need to be on v10a before you can upgrade to v12 though. See Veeam KB on Upgrade Paths here.

Also check if your SQL server service is running as well based on the error messages.  The Backup service cannot start when SQL is not running either.  😉

Hello !

You can see if your Veeam database is corrupt, may the SQL service is not running because that.

Hi @Mohammed Ibrahim Alakkal Veeam and SQL services checking is best way but you can try to restart VBR server.
