Veeam Recovery Orchestrator 13.1 is now available. The premium edition component of Veeam Data platform puts a focus on cleanroom recovery with this release, allowing you to have a fully isolated environment to validate recovery readiness or investigate compromise. Not only that, but 13.1 extends Hyper-V recovery scenarios adding more control on how and where recovery happens.
Key features include:
- Single Hyper-V host as a recovery location target with support for local and shared storage and the ability to perform cross-platform restore from vSphere VM backups
- Support to restore Hyper-V backups in Cloud Plans to Azure
- Veeam Updater plug-in allowing Updater to be launched from the UI, with the ability to configure maintenance windows, enforcement of mandatory updates and bulk update management
- Read-only access to Veeam backup repositories allowing an always-on connection keeping clean room plans up-to-date and ready to execute
- Enhanced configuration for recovery locations allowing you to target a specific backup server and repository
- New ‘map from any source network’ option allowing pre-created locations to recover VMs from unknown source networks
- Unified install wizard that manages the entire VRO server (containing all three products) as a single deployment or upgrade
- NEW Scheduled Tasks page providing visibility into upcoming events
