Not really as the location profile is a definite entity. Kubernetes labels would be closer but again it can get messy. I try to avoid comparing too much and just take as is new. As I wrote in the last post it can make things more confusing even though at first it seemed to help.
Labels and Selectors are very important. That is how a Service is linked to a pod or deployment for example. I need to mention that next week when I do another episode on services.
