If we completed the VMCE on 2023 then if we want to take VMCE 2025 for example, then the training is mandatory or we can go directly by taking the exam?

If the VBR version of the VMCE is v12, you don't need to take the class Handian. If the VBR version is v11, you will need to take the class. @Federica can you please confirm?

@coolsport00 how we can know my VMCE is belong to VBR which version? The VMCE is based on the current year right, example if in 2025 we pass the exam then we have VMCE 2025, am i right?

Yes...the cert itself is named for the given year it was taken & passed, but it's still based on a certain VBR version. If memory serves, the VBR version will be shown on your Pearson score report.

@coolsport00

Noted with many thanks

Yep Handian.. I just looked at my score report... & the version is on there. I took mine in 2023 as well & it was on v12. Hopefully yours is too.

Glad to help as always @hs08 😊

One final note as well - your VMCE is current & up to date...meaning you can't take another VMCE exam until a new VBR version is released (v13) & a new VMCE exam is posted in Pearson. I didn't explicitly mention that & wanted to make sure I did for completeness and for others who may have not known that.

Best.

hi @coolsport00 @hs08 This is not totally accurate. Right now if you are trained or certified in v11, or trained in v12 you can access to the v12 exam.

When the v13 will be available trained or certified in v11 will no longer be eligible to take the v13 exam and will have to repeat the training.

Thanks for clarifying Federica! 😊

BTW...glad to see you back! Hope you had a great vacay! 😎🌞
