Veeam Vault - recovering into region not using your 20% egress capacity?

 When choosing a country for Vault Foundation - just to confirm, even with Vault Foundation you can do restores/clean rooms without consuming some of your 20% fair use capacity as long as you restore into the same region?

I was giving this some more thought, this would actually only apply to Foundation edition? Advance has unlimited read/restores. Am I missing something here?

I wouldn’t expect egress traffic within the same region, but you will still generate API calls to read a lot of backup objects — likely for more than 20% of the data if you run test restores for all VMs.

If you plan to do test restores for all your VMs on a regular interval, it’s better to use Advanced.
