We are updating VBR from version 12.3.2.4165 to 12.3.2.4465 and we VAL and RMAN which are in version 6.3.2.1207 and 12.3.1.1139 My Question is after the VBR upgrade will RMAN and Linux agent backup works with existing version or do we need to update agents as well immediately

For VBR v13, the User Guide has a great “compatibility” section for Agents:

Sadly, I can’t find something similar for VBR v12. You didn’t specifically mention...but are you using VBR with your VAL agents in Managed Mode I assume, thus the question? RMAN really is its own plug-in as well, though I know you connect Repositories to it to use for your backups there. Since there is no definitive compatibility guide I can see for v12, my suggestion is to contact Veeam Support to verify. If you upgrade VBR to the latest patch, my guess is VAL and RMAN Plugin will be fine...but it’s best to check wtih the experts, which is not here, but rather Veeam Support 😊

+8You’re upgrading within the same version (12.3.2), so agents and plug-ins will continue working.
According to Veeam documentation, supported agent versions can still perform backup and restore operations, though newer features may require an update.
As Shane mentioned, it’s still recommended to open a case with veeam support
